Abstract: Mass fractions of active SiO₂ and Al₂O₃,and infrared spectrum (IR) were used to analyze the autoclaved reaction activities of Si/Al-based industrial residues,such as fly ash and coal dust slag etc.Results showed that autoclaved reaction activities of Si/Al-based industrial residues had an evident relationship with the mass fractions of active SiO₂ and Al₂O₃,and Si-O stretching vibration frequency about 1 100 cm^-1 in strong absorption region of IR,that is the more mass fractions of active SiO₂ and Al₂O₃,and the lower Si—O stretching vibration frequency about 1 100 cm^-1 in strong absorption region of IR,the stronger autoclaved reaction activities and the higher compressive strength of autoclaved products. 
