Abstract: Application of siphon scraper centrifuge in potash fertilizer production with cold decomposition-positive flotation process was introduced.Through technology improvement and parameter adjustment,this set of centrifuge equipment could effectively realize solid-liquid separation for the rough potash slurry after washing and could solve the dehydration problem in production fine potash fertilizer (d＜0.07 mm) with the positive flotation process.Application results showed,the mass fraction of moisture in filter cake obtained by centrifugal separation was less than (≤) 9%,mass fraction of moisture in final product of potassium chloride was(≤) 2%,product purity was more than (≥) 95% and the product quality and yield were both improved;the application of automated equipment saved a lot of human and material resources and brought about substantial economic-and social-benefits.
