放电等离子烧结细晶0.8PMN-0.2PT陶瓷的介电性能

Dielectric properties of fine-grained 0.8PMN-0.2PT ceramics prepared by spark plasma sintering

摘要:

铌镁酸铅-钛酸铅[Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3,PMN-PT]陶瓷是一种典型的驰豫铁电体。为了研究晶粒尺寸对PMN-PT陶瓷介电性能的影响,采用两步固相反应法合成了0.8PMN-0.2PT粉体,使用放电等离子烧结技术在不同温度下制备0.8PMN-0.2PT陶瓷,并分析了陶瓷的晶体结构、微观形貌和介电性能。结果表明:采用两步法能得到纯0.8PMN-0.2PT粉体,其晶粒尺寸约为0.36 μm;当烧结温度为1 100 ℃时,采用放电等离子烧结技术可以得到晶粒细小的纯0.8PMN-0.2PT陶瓷,晶粒尺寸约为0.69 μm,密度为8.02 g/cm3,但是其介电常数较低,最大值为12 708,介电-顺电转变峰为一个较宽的峰,且随频率增加,介电-顺电转变温度(Tc)向高温方向移动,呈现典型的弛豫特性。此外,在频率为1×102~2×106 Hz时,随温度升高,介电常数和介电损耗都升高。因此,采用放电等离子烧结法可以得到细晶致密且介电常数较高的0.8PMN-0.2PT陶瓷。

Abstract:

Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3(PMN-PT,lead magnesium niobate-lead titanate) ceramic is a typical relaxor ferroelectric material.In order to investigate the effect of grain size on the dielectric properties of PMN-PT ceramics,0.8PMN-0.2PT powder was synthesized using a two-step solid-state reaction method and 0.8PMN-0.2PT ceramics were prepared using a spark plasma sintering at different temperatures.The crystal structure,microstructure,and dielectric properties of the ceramics were analyzed.The results showed that pure 0.8PMN-0.2PT powder could be obtained by the two-step reaction method,and the grain size of the powder was about 0.36 μm.When the sintering temperature was 1 100 ℃,pure 0.8PMN-0.2PT ceramics with fine-grained was obtained by spark plasma sintering.The grain size was about 0.69 μm,the density was 8.02 g/cm3,but the dielectric constant was low,with the maximum value of 12 708.The dielectric-paraelectric transition peak was a very broad peak.With the increase of frequency,the dielectric-paraelectric transition temperature(Tc) moved towards the higher temperature,showing a typical relaxation characteristics.In addition,in the frequency range of 1×102 to 2×106 Hz,both dielectric constant and dielectric loss were increased with increasing temperature.Therefore,dense 0.8PMN-0.2PT ceramics with fine-grained and high dielectric constant could be obtained by spark plasma sintering.
