Abstract: TiO2 materials with three different morphologies were prepared by hydrothermal method with the addition of different surfactants. The luminescence properties of 2% Eu doped TiO2 samples were investigated by using a photoluminescence spec trometer. At the same time, the photocatalytic properties of methyl orange samples with three different morphologies were investigated. Results showed that the order of luminescence properties of the TiO2 samples from strong to weak was flower microsp here, nanorod and coreshell microsphere, while the order of catalytic properties of the TiO2 samples was opposite. It indicated that the morphology of the sample can significantly affect its performance, and the difference in luminescence and catalytic perfor mance was determined by the recombination and separation efficiency of semiconductor photogenerated electrons and holes.
