Abstract:

:The best technical conditions were determined to obtain the best extraction process of manganese from low-grade rhodochrosite by chlorination roasting-water leaching process. The influence of calcination temperature, calcination time, mass ratio of ammonium chloride and rhodochrosite on manganese leaching rate was investigated.Taking manganese leaching rate as response value, the reaction conditions were optimized by Box-Behnken based on the results of single factor experiments. Results showed that the optimum conditions of the extraction of manganese from rhodochrosite were as follows:the calcination temperature 460 ℃,calcination time 90 min,the mass ratio of ammonium chloride to rhodochrosite was 1.42.The leaching rate of manganese 94.59% was obtained under these conditions, which accorded with the model predicted value of 94.71%.As the deviation between the two methods is small, and the method is feasible.
