Abstract:

Polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) fiber, basalt fiber(BF) and hybrid fiber(PVA fiber and BF) were added to modify the properties of desulfurized gypsum base composite cementing materials, and the mechanical properties, water resistance and dry-wet resistance of fiber composites were studied.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) was used to observe the microstructure of the composite materials, and the influence mechanism of fiber on the desulfurized gypsum base composite cementified materials was discussed. The results showed that the mechanical properties of the composites were better when the content of PVA fiber was 1.5%,and the absolute dry flexural strength and absolute dry compressive strength of the sample were increased by 92.55% and 32.62% compared with that of the blank group, respectively. When the mixed fiber content was 0.9%,the water resistance of the sample was better.Compared with the blank group, the bending and softening coefficient of the sample increased by 46.60%,and the water absorption rate was lower than 13.87%.When the mixed fiber content was 0.6%,the dry-wet resistance was better, and the dry-wet strength coefficient increased by 50.74% compared with the blank group.
