Thermal expansion performance of Y2O3-ZrO2 doped with CeO2

摘要: 研究了在Y0.06Zr0.94O1.97中掺杂二氧化铈(CeO2)对其热膨胀系数的影响。使用共沉淀法合成CexY0.06Zr0.94-xO1.97(0.08≤x≤0.16)粉体,压制成型后根据样品的受热收缩曲线确定其焙烧温度。然后将试样分别放在1 250、1 350、1 450 ℃的高温电炉中烧结3 h。采用X射线衍射(XRD)和扫描电镜(SEM)分析其微观结构,利用热膨胀仪检测其热膨胀系数。研究表明:CexY0.06Zr0.94-xO1.97(0.08≤x≤0.16)的热膨胀系数高于Y0.06Zr0.94O1.97,原因是二氧化铈的掺杂增大了Y0.06Zr0.94O1.97的晶格常数,有效地削弱了材料的化学键。

Abstract: Effect of CeO2 doping on coefficient of thermal expansion of Y0.06Zr0.94O1.97 (Y2O3-ZrO2 compound) was studied.CexY0.06Zr0.94-xO1.97(0.08≤x≤0.16) compound was prepared via co-precipitation method.After pressing molding,the roasting temperatures were determined according to  heat shrinkage curve of the sample.Samples were respectively sintered at 1 250,1 350,1 450 ℃ for 3 h in high-temperature electric resistance furnace.Their micro-structures were analyzed by XRD and SEM,and the coefficients of thermal expansion were measured by thermal expansion instrument.Results indicated that the coefficient of thermal expansion of CexY0.06Zr0.94-xO1.97(0.08≤x≤0.16) was higher than that ofY0.06Zr0.94O1.97,because the constant of crystal lattice was increased and material′s chemical bonds were effectively weakened by doping CeO2 in Y2O3-ZrO2.
