Abstract

With the development of industry, the issue of water pollution, which is caused by frequent oil leakage accidents and the discharge of industrial sewage, has caused great harm to the global ecological environment and human health. In recent years, water pollution is getting more and more attention. The appearance of nanomaterials provides a new way for high-efficiency and low-cost water treatment. In recent years,two-dimensional nanomaterials, such as graphene, boron nitride nanosheets and molybdenum disulfide nanosheets, have been prepared by scientists.Because of their large specific surface area, they have strong adsorption ability, and quickly become a research hotspot in the field of water treatment. The latest research progress of three typical two-dimensional nanomaterials in the field of water treatment, including graphene, boron nitride nanosheets and molybdenum disulfide nanosheets, were introduced and their characteristics as water treatment materials were summarized. Finally, their development trend was prospected.
