Abstract: Based on the reports about inorganic phase-changed microencapsulation in recent years, the inorganic core microencapsulated phase change material(MCPCM) was summarized, the preparation methods and application fields were systematically studied, and the existing problems and places required to be improved were discussed.Following conclusions were obtained:MCPCM was a kind of core-shell structure composite material, which prepared by microencapsulation method that applied to solid-liquid phase change material.MCPCM could be wildly used in solar thermal storage, waste heat recovery, and heat transfer fluid. The inorganic phase change materials(PCMs) had the advantages of higher heat storage capacity, constant phase transition temperature, low cost and so on.Therefore,it had better application space. But MCPCM adopted at present had it own shortcomings, such as low thermal conductivity and small transition temperature range, therefore it needed further research.
