Hydrothermal synthesis of octahedra Zn2SnO4

Abstract: Pure octahedra Zn2SnO4 crystals were synthesized by milder hydrothermal method with ZnAc2·2H2O and Na2SnO3·3H2O as raw materials at 180~220 ℃ for 10~48 h in the present of NaOH(as mineralizer).The product was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The effects of the medium′s pH,raw material mix ratio,reaction temperature,and reaction time etc.on product synthesis  have been investigated.
