Abstract: Briefly introduced the common physical and chemical properties of zirconia and the main reasons why its popularization and application were restricted.Summarized the mechanisms and research status of the present main phase stabilization methods-physical stabilization method and chemical doping stabilization method in China and abroad.Briefly introduced the classification of stabilized zirconia,and at the same time systematically presented the preparation methods of stabilized zirconia and research progress on their processes in China and abroad.All the methods have been discussed and analyzed,and based on that comments were made and forecast was put forwarded. <BR>
