Abstract: Chlorine turbine compressor is one of the core equipment in the chlor alkali industry，if it fails during operation，it will not only affect the continuity of production，but also may cause various kinds of work safety accidents.In allusion to the possible work safety accidents during the operation of chlorine turbine compressor，a qualitative analysis was made and the quantitative risk assessment（QRA） method was used to quantitatively evaluate the safe]ty risks of personnel poisoning acci dents caused by chlorine leakage.In order to offer reference and consult to prevent the occurrence of accidents and to cut down accident consequence，the safety response measures were put forward.
