Synthesis and application progress of ZSM-5 molecular sieves

Abstract: ZSM-5 is widely used in various chemical fields because of its special pore structure and physical-and-chemical properties. The synthesis methods and crystallization mechanism of ZSM-5 were introduced,including template synthesis method(organic amine synthesis,inorganic amine synthesis,and alcohol method),microwave synthesis,and green synthesis route of the template free agents.Advantages and disadvantages of various synthesis methods were also discussed,which pointed out that the green synthesis method without template agent is an important direction for the future synthesis of molecular sieves.The recent application development of ZSM-5 in the fields of electrochemistry,biomass,and environment protection etc. was discussed.It provides reference for the development of new synthesis methods and using approaches of ZSM-5.
