Abstract: Taking phosphate fertilizer，yellow phosphorus，furnace-process phosphoric acid，sodium tripolyphosphate，and feed grade calcium phosphate dibasic etc.as example，the basic phosphorus chemical industry status was introduced.The main problems such as，product homogeneity，technology assimilation，and market over-supply，existing in the basic phosphorus chemical industry at present and the causes thereof were analyzed，respectively.The methods to solve these problems had to close down backward production facilities，to promote technological progress，to reduce the production cost，and to realize the adjustment and upgrading of product structure.The key of technological progress is to realize maximum benefits of atoms，to maximize the energy utilization，to maximize the labor efficiency，and to minimize the consumption. And continuously to deve- lop new products meet the social needs.At last，the suggestions for relative national policies and regulations were put forward.
