Abstract:

Taking Cu(Ⅱ) removal rate and flocculant yield as the target indicators,chitosan-based heavy metal trapping magnetic flocculant(MC-g-PAM) was prepared.Single factor experiments were used to investigate monomer content, total monomer concentration, photoinitiator concentration and reaction time, and the best preparation conditions for the two floccu-lants were determined. The best synthesis conditions were:Mass fraction of MC-g-PAM was 60%,mass fraction of total mono-mer was 35%,mass fraction of photoinitiator was 0.04%,and reaction time was 1.5 h.At this time, the removal rate of Cu2+ and the production yield were 83.52% and 72.94%,respectively.MC-g-PAM had good application prospect in the field of heavy metal wastewater treatment because of its excellent flocculation and chelating properties.
