Abstract: There are five main indexes,including average particle size and size distribution,morphology,free-alkali content,subsidence volume,and degree of whiteness,for the quality of special precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) used for high-grade cigarette paper.The quality control technology in production process of special PCC for high-grade cigarette paper from the links of relationship between slurry concentration and relative density,carbonization reaction temperature control,kiln gas concentration and flow control,subsidence volume control,raw and cooked slurry aging,excessive carbonization and phosphoric acid neutralization pack-return alkaline phenomenon,and strengthen production process quality management etc.was discussed respectively. 
