Preparation of micron-sized cobalt hydroxide with low chlorine content

摘要:

有机钴盐如醋酸钴、环烷酸钴等由醋酸、环烷酸与氢氧化钴中和反应制得,有机钴合成用的氢氧化钴要求为微米级、无氧化、氯含量低。研究了合成有机钴所需的低氯、微米级氢氧化钴的制备方法,考察了氨络合作用、料液加入顺序、还原剂、累计生长时间等参数对产品中氯含量、微观结构、氧化程度的影响。以水合肼为还原剂,钴液、氨水、液碱并流加入反应釜,控制反应pH为10.5~11.5、铵根质量浓度为6~9 g/L,晶体生长40 h后,得到玫瑰红色的氢氧化钴产品,其微观结构为六方晶体,氯质量分数为0.017%。

Abstract:

Organic cobalt salts,such as cobalt acetate and cobalt naphthenate,are synthesized by neutralizing cobalt hydrox-ide with acetic acid and naphthenic acid.The cobalt hydroxide used for synthesis of organic cobalt is required to be micron-sized,non-oxidized and low chlorine content.The preparation method of micron-sized cobalt hydroxide with low chlorine con-tent was studied,and the effect of ammonia complexation,feed liquid adding order,reductant,accumulated growth time on chlorine content,microstructure and oxidation degree of the product were investigated.The experimental results showed that under the conditions as follows:hydrazine hydrate as the reducing agent,cobalt chloride solution,ammonium hydroxide and caustic soda solution added to the reaction kettle simultaneously,the reaction pH of 10.5~11.5,NH4+ mass concentration of 6~9 g/L and accumulated growth time of 40 h,the rose-red cobalt hydroxide product was obtained,whose microstructure was hexagonal crystal and mass fraction of Cl was 0.017%.
