Abstract: Nano-sized ferric phosphate was prepared by using ferric sulfate and sodium phosphate as raw materials in a microreactor system.Influence of operation conditions including concentration, flow rate, and reaction temperature on the morphology and particle size of ferric phosphate powder was investigated.Obtained products were characterized by laser diffraction particle size distribution instrument and SEM.Results showed that reaction temperature had a great influence on the average size of ferric phosphate powder and the particle size will increase with the rising of temperature.Nano-sized ferric phosphate powder could be produced under room temperature, concentration of ferric sulfate at 0.10~0.25 mol/L,concentration of sodium phosphate at 0.20~0.50 mol/L,flow rate ratio of ferric sulfate to sodium phosphate solution at 4∶5,and the flow velocity of reactants in the react channel greater than 5.0 m/s.Ferric phosphate powder produced with microreactor was in irregular shape and its size distribution was narrow.
