Abstract: A process was presented for the synthesis of inorganic fullerene-like(IF) tungsten disulfide (WS<SUB>2</SUB>)&nbsp; nanoparticles.With dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) as dispersant,tungsten trioxide sols were obtained from exchanging sodium tungstate with proton in cation resin.The mixture of tungsten trioxide sols and sulfur podwer were heated in high-pressure reactor at the different temperatures.Investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD),black products were confirmed as tungsten disulfide nanoparticles with different morphologies.
