Abstract: In recent years,adsorption-separation technique has taken up an important position in the development process of chemical separation technique for its characteristics,such as high-performance,low energy consumption,and high purity etc..Industrial application of molecular sieve adsorbents in the fields of waste water treatment,air purification,gas separation,and oil purification etc.was introduced in detail.Several proposals for the development direction of molecular sieve adsorbents were provided：1）lower production cost;2)improving adsorption capacity and selectivity;3)constructing and perfecting quantitative evaluation indicators for adsorbents. 
