Abstract: It was found that the utilization rate of air in bottom section of oxidation tower of hydrogen peroxide production unit was very low through analyzing the utilization of air in each section. Therefore, oxidation tail gas from the bottom section of one unit<SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-hansi-font-family: "Times New Roman"">′s oxidation tower could be reused by leading it to the top section of another unit<SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-hansi-font-family: "Times New Roman"">′s oxidation tower after adjusting two units<SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-hansi-font-family: "Times New Roman"">′oxidative pressure properly. The transformation could reduce compressed air amount, cut down power, reduce heavy aromatics consumptions and decline oxidation waste gas emission at the same time. Therefore,it is beneficial to environmental protection.Oxygen contents in oxidation tail gas in the two units were reduced to 2.2%~2.7% (volume fraction) and 4.1%~4.6% respectively from 6%~7%.The power and heavy aromatics consumptions per unit product reduced by 6.5% and 8.5%,respectively. It may provide a useful reference for some units like these.
