Abstract: <SPAN lang=EN-US>By combining the advantages of solvent extraction method and ion exchange method,solvent impregnated resin (SIR) was prepared to extract boric acid from salt lake brine.Three SIRs had been prepared with isooctanol as extracting agent,with AB-8,D4020,and S-8 macroporous resins as carriers to support extracting agent.The three SIRs were used to extract boric acid from salt lake brine</SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-hansi-font-family: "Times New Roman"">,</SPAN><SPAN lang=EN-US>whose results were satisfying.The feasibility of extracting boric acid from salt lakes brine by using solvent impregnated resin was testified.<BR></SPAN>
