Abstract:

Accurate determination of zinc content in waste chemicals is the key to promote the utilization and regeneration of zinc resources. In order to accurately determine the zinc content in waste chemicals and formulate industry standards, the determination methods of zinc content in waste chemicals in the process of formulating chemical industry standards were introduced, including sample treatment and constant determination methods. The relative standard deviation for determining the major content of zinc by back titration after separation of precipitated impurities is 0.36%~2.72%,and the recovery rate of standard addition in sample test is 97.4%~100.4%.It is concluded that it is feasible to determine waste chemicals with zinc content greater than 4.0% by this method.
