Abstract:

The leaf-like copper oxide powder assembled from nanorods was synthesized by hydrothermal method using copper chloride and sodium hydroxide as raw materials without surfactant. The changes of the phase structure and micromorphology of the product under different hydrothermal time were explored, and then the formation process of the product was explo-red.X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) were used to analyze the phase structure and micromorphology of the product. The results showed that the product underwent a transition from short rod-shaped copper hydroxide to long-fiber copper hydroxide and copper oxide mixed phase structure to leaf-like copper oxide structure with the extension of hydrothermal time.Analysis of the formation of dislocations and stacking faults in leaf-like structures proved that the generation of this micro-morphology can be attributed to the imperfect oriented growth mechanism.
