Controllable preparation of nano-ZnO with super rapid mixing microreactor

Abstract: The precursor of ZnO,basic zinc carbonate was prepared with zinc sulfate heptahydrate and sodium bicarbonate as raw materials in super rapid mixing microreactor.Then the nano-ZnO was prepared by calcinations.The effects of operating conditions were systematically investigated.The samples were characterized by TEM,XRD,and BET.The results indicated that particle size could be controlled with the rapidfast precipitation method in a super rapid mixing microreactor.The structure of the nano?鄄ZnO prepared belonged to hexagonal structure with average diameters range of 14~55 nm.The size distribution of the sample was narrow with good dispersibility.
