Abstract: Trace Mo(Ⅵ) in aqueous solution was recovered by home-made foam fractionation tower with CTAC as the surfactant.Influences of pH of solution, air flow, and mass concentration of CTAC etc. on recovery rate and enrichment rate of Mo(Ⅵ) were investigated and the kinetics analysis was also made.Experimental results showed that both the recovery and enrichment rates increased at first and then decreased with the increasing of pH;the recovery rate increased but enrichment rate decreased with the increasing of CTAC concentration;the enrichment rate decreased, and the recovery rate increased at first and then decreased with the increasing of air flow.Recovery rate and enrichment rate of Mo(Ⅵ) were up to 90% and 10 times, respectively, under the conditions of pH=9,air flow of 200 mL/min,and CTAC mass concentration of 0.30 g/L.The kinetics analysis indicated that the fractionation process was zero order process and the fitted equation was ρ=-0.288 8t+ 4.290 4,R2=0.993 8.
