Abstract: Current status,including basic spray drying process of rotary atomizer and pressure atomizer,structures of heated air distributor and improved secondary heated air distributor as well as operation parameters of typical spray drying,of spray drying for white carbon was introduced. Some energy saving measures,such as setting up fluid bed on the bottom of the two-stage spray drying tower or increasing the height of spray drying tower,increasing solid content of the feed liquid,increasing inlet temperature of heated air,preheating feed liquid,and recycling the waste-heat of flue gas and the gas from spray drying tower,were also introduced.All the above can provide a reference for the improvement of spray drying technology of white carbon.
