Abstract:

The impact of pore structure optimization on demetallization catalysts for fixed bed residue hydrotreating was introduced. In order to improve the demetallization activity and long time operation stability of demetallization catalyst, firstly, based on the deactivation behavior of industrial deactivated demetallization catalyst, the optimal design idea of self?made demetallization catalyst was proposed. Then,in the preparation process of demetallizing agent carrier, film adhesive solvent and high degree of polymerization pore enlarging agent were added, and the carrier with more macropore distribution and larger pore volume was successfully prepared after adjusting the water content.Compared with industrial reference demetallization catalyst, the self?made carrier had more pore distribution on 300 nm,and pore volume was increased by 50%.The prepared catalyst showed better capability on demetallization rate which was 2%~3% higher than that of the industrial reference demetallization catalyst and had excellent long?term operation stability. The self?made demetallization catalysts had better demetallization activity and stability on residue hydrogenation and it had a good application prospect.
