Determination of trace bromate in drinking water by inhibition-spectrophotometry of KBrO3-Fe(Ⅱ)-BPY

摘要:

在pH=2.7的条件下,BrO32-对Fe(Ⅱ)-双吡啶(2,2′-bipyridine,BPY)显色体系有明显的阻抑作用,据此建立了一种测定饮用水中微量BrO32-的新方法。实验考察了pH、超声时间、显色剂用量和显色时间对溴酸盐测定的影响。在选定条件下,该方法的线性范围为0.2~1.0 mg/L(R2=0.999 3),检出限为0.002 6 mg/L。该法用于饮用水中BrO32-含量的测定,其RSD均小于5%(n=3),加标回收率为92.8%~101.5%,能满足饮用水中微量BrO32-的测定要求。

Abstract:

Under the condition of pH=2.7,there was a significant inhibition of BrO32- on the chromogenic reaction of Fe(Ⅱ)-BPY system,so a new method was established for determination of trace BrO32- in drinking water.The influence of pH,ultrasonic time,dosage of chromogenic agent and coloration time on the determination of trace BrO32- was discussed.Under the comfirmed conditions,the absorbance value was linearly correlated to bromate concentration in the range of 0.2~1.0 mg/L with the correlation coefficient of 0.999 3.The detection limit was found to be 0.002 6 mg/L.This method was applied to determine the content of BrO32- in drinking water and RSD was less than 5%(n=3),the recoveries were in the range of 92.8%~101.5%,which can satisfy the requirements for determinating trace BrO32- in drinking water.
