Abstract

Phosphorite needs flotation treatment to be used in the wet phosphoric acid process.Phosphorite with low phosphorus content is not suitable for phosphoric acid production and discarded, resulting in the accumulation of a large number of phosphorous tailings, which will not only cause environmental pollution, but also cause waste of resources if it is not rationally used.Since there are still more elements such as calcium and magnesium in the phosphorus tailings, the phosphorus tailings can be used according to the enrichment of the elements. Therefore, the occurrence and distribution of main elements such as calcium and magnesium in phosphorus tailings were analyzed by X-ray diffraction analyzer, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer,Raman spectrometer, scanning electron microscope, electron probe and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The results showed that calcium was widely distributed in phosphorus tailings, and a large amount of calcium existed in the form of dolomite combined with magnesium, while a small amount of calcium existed in the form of fluorapatite and other calcium-containing compounds with fluorine and phosphorus.Through the complete analysis of phosphorus tailings, the existence form and occurrence state of each element were obtained. It provided guidance for further utilization of calcium and magnesium in phosphorus tailings.
