Current status and development trend of China′s aluminum and iron salt industry

The development history,development status,current problems and future development trends of China′s alumin-um and iron salt industry were discussed,aiming to provide an important reference for the sound development of China′s alu-minum and iron salt industry.The main products(aluminum sulfate,polyaluminum chloride,polyferric sulfate,ferric chloride,alum),enterprise production scale,production process,technical level,innovation trends,production equipment and applica-tion status of China′s aluminum iron salt industry were introduced in detail. Aluminum iron salt products were mainly used in water treatment,papermaking,accelerators,food additives and other industries,for example,closed recycling of production wastewater,comprehensive utilization of waste residues as building materials,and waste gas treatment.The main problems ex-isting in China′s aluminum and iron salt industry were analyzed and the problems of homogenized competition,shoddy manu-facturing,insufficient R&D investment,and lagging application development in the aluminum iron salt industry were posed. The future development trend of the aluminum and iron salt industry was pointed out.The market demand would increase slowly.The production capacity would be concentrated in advantageous enterprises.The innovative product varieties and application scope would bring new market demand.The creation of famous and high-quality brands would drive the inferior by the superior.
