Study on technology of producing urea phosphate by thermal process phosphoric acid

Abstract

Industrial urea phosphate was produced by using thermal process phosphoric acid and urea as raw materials.The effect of phosphoric acid concentration,reaction time,reaction temperature,amount of substance ratio of phosphoric acid to urea and crystallization temperature on the yield of nitrogen and phosphorus in urea phosphate and product quality were studied.The optimum technological conditions were obtained as follows:the mass fraction of P2O5 in phosphoric acid was 58%,the reaction time was 35 min,the reaction temperature was 80 ℃,the amount of substance ratio of phosphoric acid to urea was 1∶1 and the crystallization temperature was 20 ℃.Under the optimum technological conditions,the mass fractions of P2O5 and N in urea phosphate were 44.8% and 17.6% and the purity was 99.7%.the product quality met the requirement of the national standard Urea Phosphate for Industrial Use,GB/T 27805—2011.The yields of phosphorus and nitrogen were 85.7% and 86.0%,respectively.
