Abstract: <DIV>Abstract:In allusion to the prevalence of potassium sulfate products around the world, such as small crystal size and poor topography in reactive crystallization process, the current research status of the factors influencing the nucleation and growth of potassium sulfate crystal in K2SO4-H2O and multi-component system was analyzed and summarized in this paper. Moreover, comprehensive analysis was made by combining the SEM topographic images of satisfactory granulated potassium sulfate occasionally got in practical process. Some possible methods were proposed to produce granular potassium sulfate with uniform size distribution, which provide reference for industrialization of granular potassium sulfate production by reactive crystallization method and for potassium′s ecological utilization.</DIV>Key words:reactive crystallization;potassium sulfate;large granule;size distribution;influencing factors
