Abstract: Cadmium in the soil is stable,accumulative,and hard to be removed.Through food chain,it may do harm to people by resulting in chronic diseases.Phytoremediation technologies are green technologies,which can remove environmental pollution.They have many advantages,such as lowcost,no harm to ecological environment of soil,and no secondary pollution.Therefore they have broad application prospects.Phytoremediation technologies of soil cadmium pollution include phytoextraction,phytovolatilization,phytostabilization,and promoting plant.In the treatment of cadmiumcontaminated soil,soil conditions,extent of contamination,expected restoration goals,time constraints,costs,and other factors should be considered comprehensively to choose a suitable repair technique or a combination thereof,to achieve doubleeffect of high efficiency and low consumption.
