Abstract: The importance of using fluid to induce vibration to intensify heat transfer and of developing new compound techniques for optimized running of heat exchangers was described,and the vibration fatigue was defined from the engineering view.The general analysis method for shell side fluid flow rate in shell and tube heat exchanger and two-way enhanced heat transfer technology were remarked and analyzed,respectively.On the basis of energy balance in heat exchanger,the common workflow of the shell side fluid flow rate was given when the bundles worked long time under vibration fatigue effect.At last,it must make sure that the new heat transfer units and computer technology must be used,perfect expert system must be improved and failure diagnose experiences must be enriched in order to use the fluid-induced excitation energy to enhance heat transfer more effectively,to prolong the service life of bundles,and to let all the heat exchange system serve industrial production well.
