Study on new technology of leaching removal of nickel in copper ore concentrate and removal of copper in lixivium

Abstract: <P><SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体"><SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体">Optimum technological conditions and flow for removal of nickel in copper ore concentrate by leaching with hydrochloric acid and removal of copper in lixivium were confirmed in experiments.Problems,such as removal of copper in lixivium by nickel ore concentrate as well as how to improve the recovery of nickel by increasing activity of nickel ore concentrate were specially studied,and method of removal of copper by adding multi-sulfur complexing agent to activate nickel ore concentrate was proposed.Removal rate of copper in lixivium was above 99% and mass fraction of nickel in residue of leaching removal of nickel in copper ore concentrate reduced to about 1.8%,which showed that this was a simple and economic method.Hydrochloric acid was used as leaching agent,which could bring a fast and high leaching rate of nickel (more than 62%) and a good inhibitive ability to copper.There were no impurities imported in the whole process and disadvantages of large consumption of reagents,high cost,difficult operation,and high impurity in traditional methods,such as curing method,iron chip method,and extraction method,were overcome.</SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ascii-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-hansi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA"></SPAN></SPAN></P>
