Abstract: <SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体">To the end of the removal of calcium-magnesium ions in zinc metallurgy wastewater and making use of the wastewater,method of clinoptilolite selectively absorbing calcium-magnesium ions was adopted.Modification effect of different modifiers on clinoptilolite was discussed;Besides,influences of several factors including absorption time,temperature,granularity of clinoptilolite,and stirring intensity etc.on absorption effect were also considered.Results showed that 15% (mass fraction) NaOH was the best modifier and adsorption capacity of modified clinoptilolite to calcium-magnesium ions increased by 63% comparing with unmodified natural clinoptilolite,at the same time the absorption capacity of modified clinoptilolite began to increase rapidly and then slow down as time went on and the absorption was basically saturated in 90 min. Furthermore,the capacity increased indistinctly with constantly elevating temperature,however,it increased markedly with reducing the granularity and augmenting the stirring intensity,which explained that ion exchange reaction speed was fast and the inside and outside diffusion process could obviously affect absorption effect.Static isothermal adsorption process was in accord with Langmiur adsorption isothermal equation.By the way,other ions existing in wastewater can lower adsorptive capacity of 26%.</SPAN>
