Preparation of polyaluminium ferrous chloride by using cryolite mother liquor

Abstract: <SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体">New technology for producing high molecular inorganic flocculation agent-polyaluminium ferrous chloride (PAFC) by using mother liquor by-produced from cryolite production with clay-bittern process was introduced.cryolite mother liquor,clay,calcium aluminate powder,and ferric oxide powder were taken as the raw materials.At first,aluminium ferrous chloride solution was prepared by reacting cryolite mother liquor with clay and ferric oxide powder at a certain condition.Then the liquid PAFC was prepared by reacting clear aluminium ferrous chloride solution with calcium aluminate powder and ferric oxide powder at a certain condition.Final product will be achieved after drying and packing.This technology has the advantages of lower cost,better product quality,and more reasonable process etc.and therefore it has good both economic and environmental benefits.</SPAN>
