Comparision of measurement methods for copper content in silica

Abstract: <SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体">Several optional laboratory determination methods for copper content in silica were described and compared.It was proved by experiments that,the determination effects of three kinds of copper determination methods for silica were all good because of their results all within the allowable tolerance.Among them,flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) is increasingly being applied,due to its simple operation,high accuracy,strong applicability,good self selectivity,relatively small interfere,and fairly satability for copper determination.Thus it is particularly suitable for determining the copper in silica.However,its disadvantage is some laboratories do not have the expensive instrument.It is expected to provide reference for researchers through the comparison among the several methods.</SPAN>
