Abstract: Study on continuous production of silica by hypergravity sulfuric acid precipitation method was conducted.Influences of process conditions, such as mass fraction of sulfuric acid, rotor speed of rotating packed bed (RPB),and flow rate of sodium silicate,on performances of silica powder were investigated.Silica powder was tested by TEM,BET,and DBP.Results showed:mean diameter of the powder is about 10 nm;with increasing of mass fraction of sulfuric acid, specific area increase at first and then decrease, whereas oil absorption value is on the contrary;with increasing of rotor speed, specific area decrease at first and then increase and oil absorption value has decreasing tendency more or less;effect of silicate sodium flow rate on specific area is not significant.
