Abstract:

Experiments on the gasification of sewage sludge(SS) and spirit-based distillers′ grains(SDG) were conducted using a fixed bed as the reactor and water vapor as the gasification agent. The effects of blending ratio and reaction temperature on the gasification characteristics of SS and SDG were investigated, and the synergistic effects and synergistic mechanisms of SS and SDG co-gasification were analyzed. The results showed that SS had stronger gasification reaction activity than SDG,SDG had higher selectivity than SS syngas, and there were complementary effects in gasification. When SS and SDG were co-gasified,the H2 content was gradually increased and CO content was gradually decreased as the proportion of SDG increasing in the blends.Increasing the temperature and increasing the proportion of SS could enhance the gasification reaction activity. When the temperature was 800 ℃ and m(SS)∶m(SDG)=1∶1,SS and SDG co-gasification had the maximum synergistic factor of 1.36.K and Ca in SS and SDG produced synergistic catalytic effect on the gasification reaction, and the catalytic mechanism was the K and Ca redox cycle.
