Abstract: Phosphorus chemical industries at home and abroad were disscussed.Based on the new trends and new characteristics of phosphorus chemical industries at home and abroad,a new developing direction for Chinese phosphorus chemical industry was pointed out.In order to realize sustainable development of Chinese phosphorus chemical industry and make it big-and-strong,it must do well in deep processing of yellow phosphorus,thermal-process phosphoric acid and of wet-process phosphoric acid. Simultaneously,detailed discussions on moderately developing high-analysis phosphate compound fertilizer,devoting major efforts to developing fine phosphorous chemical industry,and on positively developing recycling-based environment-friendly industries etc.have been made.  
