Abstract: <P>At present，the hurtless treatment for chrome slag is undergoing in many chromate plants in China.Some plants have basically achieved the target.With the further requirement on the chrome slag treatment，the remediation for the Cr-contaminated soil near or at the bottom of the slag yard has climbed up the agenda.There are particularities for the remediation of soil contaminated by chromium.Chromium contents of different kinds of soil that formed from different geological conditions are quite different.Besides that，the use of soil is manifold and the permissibility of soil to Cr and Cr↑6+ is different too.Therefore，so far there is no treatment standard for contaminated soil by Cr.Recommended some valuable information for remediation index of contaminated soil by Cr.Meanwhile，the remediation technics for contaminated soil by Cr were reviewed and 5 remediation technics were introduced.</P>
