Abstract: The production system of thermal process phosphoric acid will release 24 335 MJ heat while it burns one ton yellow phosphorus.In order to ensure the equipment will not be eroded,the heat must be released into the air from the cooling tower after heat-exchanging with water or acid. However,an extra heating appliance should be set up for the system′s phosphorus melting and supplying equipments as well as the related pipelines,so as to keep the flowing and atomizing burning of yellow phosphorus.Therefore,the utilization of heat energy is not reasonable,because the heat energy generated by the system itself was not recycled and utilized well.On the basis of the analysis on the existing production technology of thermal process phosphoric acid,the most advanced heat recovery and utilization technology in the world with proprietary intellectual property right was introduced.The effects of energy-saving,water-saving and emission reduction were also introduced after the application of this technology.The paper also pointed out the importance of applying this technology to China′s present object of "energy-saving and emission reduction".
