Abstract: <DIV>The commonly used methods for purifying wet-process phosphoric acid (WPA) and their advantages and disadvantages were summarized.Industrialized process flow of several typical of solvent extraction methods and their current research status in China and abroad were introduced.Especially，two newly developed purification technologies for WPA by solvent extraction method in China were introduced in detail.From the comparison of the differences and similarities of the above mentioned two technologies，conclusions were reached：the new technologies are of short working process，less investment，low production cost，efficiently elimination of SO↑2-↓4 and high recovery of P↓2O↓5；and they have wide application prospect with proprietary intellectual property rights.</DIV>
