Abstract: In order to reduce the production cost of aluminum fluoride by wet process，and to use the local mineral resources，hydrofluoric acid， sulfuric acid and kaolinite were used as raw materials to produce aluminum fluoride by wet process.The new production process flow，process condition，problems needing attention in the production as well as how to control the product quality were introduced and analyzed.The quality of aluminum fluoride product with the new technology met the requirement of Standard GB/T 4292—1999.The paper not only presented the advantages of the new technology，but also compared and analyzed its economic benefit.It can save RMB 661/t comparing to the existing wet process of aluminum fluoride.Furthermore，there is no waste residue and water discharge in the production process.Therefore，the new technology has very good economic and social benefit.
