Abstract: Solvent flotation method is a new technology for recovering iodine from wet-process phosphoric acid. This study used quadratic regression rotary design to arrange experiments to select technological  conditions. The regression forecasting equation has been obtained on the basis of experimental data,by which the effects of various factors on recovery rate of iodine under different conditions can be predicted in the range of experiment. Results showed that the most important influential factors of iodine recovery rate were flotation time, solvent dosage and oxidization time.Optimum technological conditions of  recovering iodine from wet-process phosphoric acid by solvent flotation were obtained according to the index of iodine recovery rate (fixed condition:dosage of wet-process phosphoric acid is 50 mL,and the flow rate of nitrogen is 40 mL/min),i.e.CTMAB 0.065 g,solvent benzene is 12 mL,oxidization time 18 min,and flotation time 25 min.
