Abstract: The application development，production technology，and development trend of calcium hypophosphite were sum- marized and analyzed.Five kinds of preparation methods of calcium hypophosphite，such as yellow phosphorus and lime reaction method，neutralization method，calcium chloride and sodium hypophosphite reforming process，calcium chloride and sodium hypophosphite reaction conversion method，and liquid-phase catalysis method，were introduced emphatically.Moreover，raw materials，principles，advantages and disadvantages as well as application situations of each process were analyzed in detail，and the reference for the promotion of development of calcium hypophosphite industry was provided.
