Study on the preparation of cuprous chloride from copper-containing wastewater

Abstract: Nowadays,there are 4 billion cubic meters plating wastewater containing a lot of copper ions were released in China.It′s not only the waste of resources,but also the environment pollution will be caused if the copper ions couldn′t be reused.In this paper,cuprous chloride was prepared by sulfite-reduction method with copper sulphate,which was obtained from copper-containing plating wastewater treatment.At the same time,the influences of various factors,such as the dosage of reducing agent (sodium sulfite),the dosage of precipitator (sodium chloride),reaction time,reaction temperature and pH on the yield of cuprous chloride have been studied.According to orthogonal test,the suitable technical condition in the laboratory has been confirmed and the hierarchical sequence of the main influencing factors has been ensured.
