Abstract: Advantages and disadvantages of the traditional lithium fluoride production process were analyzed briefly，and the foundation for the production process exploration and product quality improvement of battery grade lithium fluoride was laid. The research process，including material selection，preparation principle and process flow，the key points and difficult points， and equipment selection etc.of the preparation technology of lithium battery grade lithium fluoride with ammonium fluoride and lithium bicarbonate as raw materials was emphatically expounded.The quality of lithium fluoride product prepared by this method was better than that of the Battery Grade Lithium Fluoride Standard，YS/T 661—2007，which can meet the demand of the market.
